Counterpoint is a much larger version of the (usually handheld) ancient Peruvian whistling vessel that works by moving water through the internal chambers to displace air and activate the hidden whistle(s).The wooden rocker, imitating a rocking horse, allows one or two people to step, push, or sit on either side to control the movement and produce sounds.The audience was invited to interact with the work.
