HIDE AND SEEK
On a warm spring day, birds are out to play. They bob around the vessel, playing hide and seek. The vessel is inspired by the ancient Peruvian whistling vessel. This is a functional sculpture - watch the video below to hear the vessel breathe and chirp.

WHISTLING VESSEL
Origins: Ancient Peru
With whistling vessels dating as far back as 500BC - 1200AD. Little is known about the purpose of these vessels due to the lost of information after the Spanish Conquest, but they were likely used for secular and religious rituals.
